Wild weather on Lindisfarne NNR

It's been a misty and wet couple of days which has made checking the sheep and cattle a little bit challenging.

Cattle proving elusive in the poor conditions but found eventually!

When taking water out to the sheep, which we do most days, we check the sward to see what impact they are having. As you can see from the pictures below they have been browsing some of the small shoots of scrub which is exactly what we want them to be doing. We will be rotating them around the Snook so we can target the areas we need.
