Whilst surveying for WeBS this weekend it became apparent that there were off-road vehicles on the beach at Goswick. With support from the police they were told to leave the site and details taken. We work closely with the police so they are up to date with the issues we come across. There is a bye-law against off-road driving anywhere on the Reserve which includes the northern parts such as Cheswick and Goswick. Apart from being noisy and disruptive to wildlife driving on the dunes and beach causes damage to these important habitats.
