Bird sightings

Looking from Harper's Heugh with the Reserve in the background. A mixed flock of barnacle geese greylag geese and pink-footed geese. Other birds to look out for at Lindisfarne NNR include 1,000 light-bellied brent still using the site (small family groups are still visible form the causeway). Also visible from Chare ends today was a large flock of golden plover looking good in the sunlight.
