Coronavirus update

Important update: On Tuesday following government advice to delay the spread of the virus we made the decision to postpone our events calendar and cease all group volunteer activity until further notice.


The Reserve is still open for visitors to enjoy the beautiful landscape and wildlife but we ask that guidance on social distancing is adhered to. Avoid large groups especially in confined spaces such as bird hides. For the health and safety of our visitors, if you have a persistent cough, high temperature or somebody in your household has these symptoms please do not visit the Reserve.

As for the Reserve, work goes on as normal. Nature doesn't stop. Flowers are beginning to bloom, Skylarks are back on territory and Terns are fast approaching UK shores as we head into spring.
