Shorebird nesting scheme update

This picture was taken at Goswick and is looking right where our shorebird fencing was placed during the summer. You can see the amount of traffic the beach gets when there aren't any fences to help guide beach users around sensitive areas and how easy it might be for birds to be disturbed or worse. Thanks to everyone this year that helped by staying clear of areas when on the beach -  with your help we had a bumper year of productivity.

Footprints in the sand where fencing was placed during the summer.

An example of some of the signs and fencing we had up during the summer to help guide people away from sensitive areas.
