Last weekend volunteers and staff completed the monthly WeBS count. This is a regular count of water birds throughout the Reserve and the results are fed into the British Trust for Ornithology database(more info here). It takes 6 people to cover the whole of the NNR and when the information is collated we'll put up a summary on the blog.
