We welcomed 30 cattle onto the island today and they will be with us for the winter.

A mixed beef herd, they have come from a local farm very close to the reserve near Lowick. The animals are chosen because they are steady around people but still do a great job of grazing the dunes. Please take note of any signs around the reserve as they'll let you know where the cattle are grazing.
