World Migratory Bird Day

We are celebrating International World Migratory Bird Day on 08^th May 10.30-13.00 at the Window on Wild Lindisfarne with a family fun day.   

World Migratory Bird Day (WMBD) was initiated in 2006 and is an annual awareness-raising campaign highlighting the need for the conservation of migratory birds and their habitats. Each year, on the second weekend in May, people around the world take action and organise public events. There is more information available http://www.worldmigratorybirdday.org/.

 

Come along the Window on Wild Lindisfarne on Sunday 8^th of May 10.30-13.00 to learn more about  amazing migrations with games and crafts for children of all ages. This is a drop-in event so no need to book. For more information contact the Reserve office on 01289 381470.
